Founded in 1999, Le Domaine brought the Boisset family’s 91 top acres together under one signature estate. The vineyards are in 30 different appellations in the Côte d’Or, with two thirds in the Côte de Nuits and one third in the Côte de Beaune. The first vineyard purchased by Jean-Claude and Claudine Boisset in 1964 is the single vineyard, Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles and the latest jewel, the Clos Blanc de Vougeot Monopole is part of our 24 acres in the Vougeot appellation. Pascal Marchand, winemaker until 2005, focused on the pure expression of this Burgundian terroir using natural farming and biodynamics, respecting the environment and making truly unique wines.
The new general manager and winemaker, Pierre Vincent, is Le domaine’s conductor, overseeing this orchestra. He is the link between the vineyard and the cellar, that damp and silent environment where the fragile liquid is sheltered until the moment when it is finally ready to greet the light of day, and work its delicate charm on the palate…
