Founded in 1986 by the Cosmo family, Bellenda winery is situated on the hills between the towns of Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto, in the very land of Prosecco Superiore, at an altitude varying between 150 and 200 metres above the sea level, just 60 kilometres north of Venice. Bellenda is known for its various styles of sparkling wine (both classic and charmat methods), although Prosecco remains its iconic wine.
The Cosmo family had always believed in this big project. Their major focus was to produce, not only good wines, but wines that were able to represent a lifestyle. Thanks to its innovative and highly original products, Bellenda has succeeded in establishing itself both nationally and internationally as a leading winery in Northeast Italy.
Bellenda wines embody the very best qualities of what is one of Italy’s finest sparkling-wine production areas, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Now the company owns around 38 hectares with a production of 1 million of bottles and its wines are well known all over the world.
