Allora Vineyards
Allora Vineyards was established in 1999. The proprietors of Allora Vineyards are Terry and Nancy Klein. They manage their winemaking business along with their children, Kelly, Cortney and Christopher Klein. Although the Kleins operate a very successful plastering business, their long-time dream was to make a quality wine of their own. In 1998 the Kleins purchased a 15-acre parcel on the north end of St. Helena and planted a 10-acre vineyard. The Allora wines are made from the estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah.
The philosophy that drives Allora Vineyards is “quality, not quantity.” All of the Allora wines continue to be produced in very limited quantities. Great care is given to the vineyard because we believe that great wines are grown. Rudy Zuidema, Allora’s winemaker, demonstrates his true love of red wine and passion for the craft in every vintage. The winning combination of exceptional fruit and tireless attention to detail make the Allora wines truly unique.
